Professional Background:

Joseph’s background includes a counseling Masters Degree from Lesley University (1994), together with training in Gestalt Therapy, and certification from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (2001). Has been involved with EEG Neurofeedback and EEG Spectrum International since1999. Joseph has worked in human services and counseling since 1976.
Family and personal background include childhood ADD and hyperactivity, and adult recovery from alcoholism. He is a certified meditation instructor and brings an approach of gentleness and compassion to all his work.
Current interests include the connection between EEG Neurofeedback and meditation, and exploring relationships between spirituality, psychology, and pathology.

Description of Practice:

Joseph provides Neurofeedback services in Warren, RI. This location offers a comfortable friendly environment that are centrally located from major highways.
EEG Neurofeedback requires a series of sessions. Recommended are two sessions weekly. Efforts are made to accommodate peoples’ busy lives and schedules.
Joseph includes coaching and counseling to help a client with beneficial lifestyle changes and making the most of EEG Neurofeedback work. He has found that EEG Neurofeedback works best when accompanied by other supportive interventions. During the course of Neurofeedback training, clients monitor the effects of the training in various aspects of their lives, with an eye toward progress on their goals.
